Earth-91 had an incident where Superman was permanently crippled by exposure to something that was somehow a mix of red and green. Not really a single color, but the end result was PERMANENT... when usually neither is permanent.

Nah Acolyte had such bad writing that to call it a bad fanfic would be an insult to fanfics.
It's incredibly bad to the point that when you look closely you can SEE the seams where they patched together pieces of several different scripts and were just hoping people wouldn't notice.

That's a thing I noticed.... they don't really seem to have an individual identity. They're apparently controlled by.... the glowy thing.. whatever that is.
Linguistically this creates a lot of questions since... we don't know where the glowy thing came from.

The Aetherians are an evolution of the Heralds, would they create a new language in the process? Or perhaps might they be controlled by another force? As Grendat-Bexx explain the Aetherians have a true shared mind. the process of "assimilation" erases the identity of anyone assimilated by them

We know from what Grendat-Bex said that the Aetherians used to be Heralds. The Heralds were taught by the Iconians almost like children. I suppose it's POSSIBLE the Iconians invented a new language to teach them, but feels more likely they simply taught them what they needed.

I realized it was connected to the bug that made the previous mission unplayable. Yeah, the mission where you have to fight through a Red Borg base to get to their Borg King ..... temporarily became unplayable because Thaseen Fei's NPC would refuse to load. I'm like "they're changing the NPC"...
