This sickens me. I thought we were past being disgusted daily with that governments corruption.

Correct. He has loyalty to nobody.

I too was like this, purely because my parents were and I didn’t know any better. Brexit opened my eyes. I became politically engaged and the lies and corruption from the right blew my mind.

There are too many who will crawl to him, hoping to get ahead of the rest. They’ll learn the hard way.

I did wonder about him. Ukraine is an extremely corrupt country. How can the leader suddenly be saintly?

I agree Linda, but they do. And while they do, state schools will continue to be starved of funding, and the minds of the underprivileged not just allowed to rot but encouraged to rot.

True Jillian. I’m leaning towards state but it’s fair to say I’m already frustrated at the prospect of trying to help people who don’t want help.

It’s sickening to watch. The difficulty with fighting this is that educated, well informed people: 1. struggle to agree on anything 2. are not aggressive

At the moment there are 2 state school vacancies and 1 private school vacancy within driving distance. This is my dilemma. My moral compass is directing me to state, but damn it’s hard to fight against people who fight against their own interests. I remember it.

That’s a good question. I can’t do both full-time but I could definitely work for one and do some outreach work at the other. Worth a ponder. Thank you.

Like I said, by educating yourself you can avoid being insensitive to others. It really is that easy.

It’s really not difficult to educate yourself and avoid insulting people.

Unfortunately politicians are years behind on education. They will only look when they’re forced to look. And at the moment, they’re not being forced on this; not when right wing media is so against any ‘encouragement’ to stay at home.

I do think virtual schools are the answer. I’m fact I see the majority of schooling going this way in the not too distant future.
