I can't help but think how different the fan-narrative would be if we'd won 2 more games last season and gotten into the playoffs. Folks talking like the gap is a lot bigger than it is. A couple of players have better seasons in 2025 we're in.

I really do feel fans and media are underestimating the impact of a full season of Edgar and Seitzer for our young assets. Couple that with our pitching, it's going to be a lot more fun than the negs think.

I wonder if they'll actually be somewhat forced to go the FA route? I can see them using in-house for 1B or 2B, but in-house options are cringe for 3B imo. In the end, betting Justin/Jerry surprise trade for unexpected target. #mariners
