Not sure I agree. He has a litany of reasons why it will cancel the 2026 elections (& it will), war w Iran is not necessary for his plans

I have no respect for anyone in this administration. They are monsters & deserve complete contempt.

It is sad when I see an Onion headline & wonder, could this be real? In Mike Lee's case, I think it might be

Sorry God, no one in Congress will do anything. Looks like it is up to you....

Nah, silicon boob implant ruptured

Both Tina (who I met at an Angie fundraiser in October) & Amy are mentors of hers. So I think if you like them, Angie will not be too dissimilar

We can disagree on this, but I am confident she would take the same attitude she had in her district across the state. & she will very likely be the dem candidate for senate

Did she have a bad reaction to her 100th botox injection, or did one of her silicon boob implants rupture?

I can picture it. Because I know Angie. We don't agree on everything, but that lady does stand up & fight for causes she believes in

We are so far past normal times. Or any sense of civility.

That is wonderful! 5-8 club or Matt's for Jucy Lucies? (I prefer 5-8)

The last line of the article is critical. How will this end? My prediction is, and has been for some time, the dissolution of the United States into regional areas. The gap in values and even reality is too wide to be bridged.

Not just UT. These are the values of the overwhelming majority of the Republican Party. They are an authoritarian, democracy hating cult. And the sooner the Dems realize what they are facing and how all decorum needs to be abandoned as we fight for our freedom, the better for our nation

Does Iran have a right to violate treaties and pursue uranium enrichment when they specifically said they would stop their program to create nuclear weapons? I HATE having to defend Bibi but he may be justified in this one action if Iran was close to becoming a nuclear power
comment in response to post
Really? In what way? By existing? It has been around since 1948. This is not to say the current administration is destabilizing, I would agree with that. Bibi and his thugs are the most right wing, lunatic filled government Israel has ever seen. But the main destabilization factor? Nah, that is Iran
comment in response to post
You realize that Israel has had nuclear weapons since the late 1970s, right? So how is that destablizing when it has been in place for about 45 years? Make a logical argument, if you can
comment in response to post
Here is a question: if Iran was, as intelligence indicates, a few days away from reaching the uranium enrichment level of 90% needed for nuclear weapons, does Israel have a right to defend itself? A nuclear Iran would be a huge destabilization factor in the middle east

Fox News would be organizing rallies daily & the calls for removal would be hourly. Because it happened to a Democrat? Shrugs. Strongly worded letters. Which is why we are losing

The sad part is that those impacted the most will be the low income followers of Taco Don. The parents I do not care about, but the kids who will die because of this? I feel so badly that they will suffer for their parents idiocy

Here is a question I still do not understand, why is mainstream media so fearful of calling these the authoritarian actions they are? Money? Fear? They have seen how this goes in Russia, in Hungary and know what awaits them if this continues. Why the hesitancy?

Roman emperors knew it well and called it "Bread and circuses". And it works most of the time

Not sure I agree. Oscar the Grouch, another potential candidate, would have been worse (but better optics). If Hulk Hogan wasn't being considered for DoD after Hegseth (I wish I were kidding) he would be worse as well

I would start by clarifying if you are speaking with RFK Jr or the brain worm that controls most of his motor functions

You listed my current home already (although some might argue for Paul Westerberg and the Replacements) for Philly it would be a tough choice between Will Smith, Boys II Men and Hall and Oates for us old timers.
