My media art digital thinkers #StarterPack is full! This is a joy, because it means Bluesky is now bursting with the kind of people I want to share a community with. But it's also sad, because there are plenty more people I would love to add. We need 150+++ starterpacks please @bsky.app

Some underrated sites that are constantly posting cool stuff and are great resources for me: Open Culture, Project Gutenberg, Internet Archive, and the Public Domain Review. I bookmarked them because algorithms feed me pure garbage.

Today my book of poems ALL THE WAY FOR THE WIN was published by Penteract Press: penteractpress.com/store/all-th... It begins with the birth of the universe & concludes with the eradication of the last human-authored poetic text. And it consists entirely of three-letter words.

I wrote a bit about IDEs, and about how lots of creative coding languages/IDEs assume the user doesn't want to code (which is essential to get people into programming! But I ask what happens next?) and some silly experiments I have been doing! www.media.mit.edu/projects/exp...

What I’ve been up to the past 6 months: taking TRANSFER in a new direction, looking back on a decade of work that was ahead of its time, and building an open infrastructure that offers an alternative to the hellscape of the Contemporary Art Market: opencollective.com/transfer-dat...

Not finding any other Starter Packs devoted to 1990s/2000s internet artists [or 'net.artists' as we were known back then] and theorists, I started my own: go.bsky.app/9t3Tejg. If you're an original #netart OGer reach out to be added [eg JODI, Antiorp or the VNS Matrix gals etc would be fab to add].
