Oooh! I would find it very amusing to have a first Scottish record for a plant! Thank you! I’ll post the exact location and then maybe someone will find them either now or in the future. 😀

Great book - Trevor. Thank you for writing it.
Now, those two plants I couldn't id at Musselburgh last weekend... What would you say about these please? It's partly your fault that I care... 😉

Much longer than 10 years ago. I had a discussion with Richard Benyon about this in 2010 orr early 2011 and it was well known then. The industries delay unless govts regulate and enforce.

Best reference for aphid identification? For a novice? Or actually, absolute beginner! Please?

Yes, indeed. Farage is a grouse shooter & that will colour their policies. But Labour is not positioning itself to be a rural alternative to anyone. Reform in East Midlands is very strong.

But these various bumps & others add up to an almost complete disregard by govt for wildlife (& rural & countryside) which will cost Labour in future elections. Hope evaporating, confidence long gone. It will be a good time to be a LibDem or Green in rural seats with collapse of Conservatives too.
