I've been looking at VW campers recently - they do a lovely Bronze/Brown colour but they've all been a bit out of my price range at the moment

We had an old Volvo. It was maroon. I'd love that car now.

The 70's definitely had a colour palette didn't they? Purple, Orange, Olive, Brown... Car's need to be these colours again!!

He is…he plays dumb until it suits him to be clever 😂

Thanks @pjdilley.bsky.social and thanks everyone for taking the time to help. Hopefully we’ll find a solution !!!

Thanks, I’ll have a look for one of those. We just tried a softer one with Velcro. It took him all of 5 secs to remove it 😂

JFC what’s he done now? It’s like 5 times a day!!

I’ve seen quite a few of them recently - I think he’s making a comeback :-) Apparently, the hot dog man is pretty common too

I think in a lot of cases, they’ve invested their time, trusted the creators and they genuinely hope it’ll get better again. I watched 2 1/2 seasons of The Walking Dead purely out of the hope that it’d return to being as good as the first 2 seasons. It never did 😂

Whitby is lovely. Scarborough is a very British seaside town, which I love. South of Scarborough, things get a bit more ‘nature’. Bempton has a massive Puffin colony. There’s surfing at Cayton and then Filey down to Flamborough is beautiful walking.

It’s Flamborough Head on the Yorkshire coast. Probably one of my favourite places on the planet.

I didn’t know - hope you’re feeling better now. I can see the attraction of the escape.

2/2 I smiled and nodded at him, he smiled and nodded and gestured to keep quiet :-)

1/2 I went to the Natural History Museum in London. It was the morning of the 2nd day (1st day was VIP and meeting SS). There was a quiet bench outside the exhibition, near a case of butterflies. I saw a guy sitting there, with a hat on, trying not to be noticed. It was Sebastião.

I’d like a palm tree. I might take my own next time and lower it in 😂

I spent ages trying to line the pattern up in the frame -I gave up in the end :-)

So a generation of people that hasn't undergone a world war, had free education to the end of University, free healthcare and could get on the housing ladder with a mid range single income, thinks that kids now are less resilient?
comment in response to post
Thanks Patrick - it's quite liberating to just photograph things seen, with no pattern or reason

Mine too, but on any day when the sun is out, weekends & bank holidays, i do everything I can to avoid going into the centre :-)

The stuff I want to see accounts for about 15% of what I actually see. Bluesky is the best one. Threads seems to have a system where if you block someone, they send you more posts from people like them.

I had to look that up to see where it was - My knowledge of Scotland needs work.

By the way - did your dream book arrive ok?

I know, I know :-) - I'm just doing the first cut on Freeform, then I'll get everything printed - I was just telling Patrick above, the Yorkshire system of putting 2 images onto one 5x7 print - half frame style, to save money :-)

Hi Patrick, I do actually have a Selphy, but I've found for a large job like this, it's more expensive than using a lab - in the past, I've been sneaky and used lightroom to put 2 images into one 5x7, cut them when I get them back from the lab, into 3.5"x5" :-)

I'm using a screen - I've been using the Freeform Apple app

I'd love to know what the huts that don't belong to the fishermen are for. There's a couple that look like people stay in them - probably during the summer!
