Hell yeah, congrats.

Yeah I was going to say that one. Another "apparently nobody saw it except absolutely everyone in all my social circles"

Uhhhh Dan but what if a member of the community wanted those 1957 World Encyclopedias

If one source with absolutely no history of reliability is wildly out of line with every other source, that might be a good sign that it's not true! If you're so committed to being a credulous dupe more power to you I guess

Making up protest numbers is misinformation. Claiming to be a coalition of hundreds of thousands federal employees in a secret shadow government is misinformation.

But they actually do post misinformation! As covered by the thread! If you just want a news aggregator you can easily find ones that don't imply they're the source when they're just grabbing it from legitimate news sources. If you just want resist LARPing to feel like somebody is doing something...

What do you think "endorse" means exactly

Probably shouldn't include screenshots that directly contradict you when you're saying lies btw

Libya also being an object lesson to never ever give up your nukes, too

There's actually ONLY downtown. Five minutes in any direction from those bougie restaurants is cow tipping territory

Obviously this is going to vary by location, maybe there actually is a risk at some of these actions! which is why everyone needs to do their own threat assessment instead of locking their phone in a faraday box every time they go stand next to a grandma holding a dump drumpf sign

I think some/most program funding will be restored (shoutout to my ACA job again), a lot of the most egregious abuses will be toned down and basically none of the fascist positions will be revoked and nobody who matters will face any consequences. DOGE will stick around like Space Force did
comment in response to post
Imo it'll probably be a mixed bag. Last time Biden reversed some things domestically (my ACA job got even more funding whoo) and left a bunch of foreign policy stuff he probably agreed with alone (Iran deal, Jerusalem embassy).

Do you actually think it's more likely that a bunch of bots are targeting you than you're (deliberately at this point) posting dangerous misinformation and lots of people are calling you out on it and asking you to stop

They're gonna try to India Walton him, yeah

The one time I had A Crime Committed against me living here was somebody taking a work Chromebook from my car. But I'd left it unlocked so I was definitely asking for it. Plus Chromebooks suck anyway

One time my apartment got broken into and and it was also almost certainly targeted on one of my roommates but c'mon man you couldn't even rifle through my drawers a little? I had a computer on my desk, pretty new! I had cash and a pretty nice collection of vintage soda bottles, I'm worth robbing!

They're getting a picket line going today if you want/have time to swing by!

I have no idea what you know - not the milk thing at least, which apparently you acknowledge since you deleted the skeet

Mr. Senator sir have you considered that almost everyone here riffing has basically no say in anything that's happening while in contrast you are a U.S. senator

Eventually he retired and went back to Ireland and they had an estate sale for the stuff he left here and all the church dudes were extremely put out that he apparently took the motorcycle with him
comment in response to post
The priest at my church growing up had a motorcycle (maybe a HD? No accounting for taste) which was the funniest thing because he was an extremely soft spoken greying Irish dude

That's a good strategy, I should try that

How's your election going? Our first chapter convention (nine years in) and incidentally our first semi-competitive delegate elections are tomorrow. Send revolutionary prayers
comment in response to post
Ah well you see if only you read these secen competing info pamphlets thrust into your hand outside the convention floor you would be as well informed as anyone could expect to be

OK dude, I think we've reached the end of productive discussion now. I'm going to take it to the forums where I'm sure there's another 100 replies since I last checked
