S/S Hestmanden - a Norwegian ship built in 1911 - is in Leith from Monday to Wednesday and open to the public from 11am to 5pm each day. The aim is to tell the story of the 1,000 Norwegian ships which supplied food, medicine, fuel and arms to the Allies during WW2

Finally home after a few days off, helping Mighty Convoy deliver 5 ambulances to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for use in their front lines. We drove non-stop through 7 countries to Lviv, over 35 hours. I’ll write more soon but this was among the most moving and important things I’ve been part of.

I met Alex and @paulsweeney.bsky.social on the return leg by air from Krakow, without myself going anywhere quite so scarred by war. Thank you to the cross-party team for doing your bit for Ukraine.
