Red state blueneck I like travel, walking with my dog, watching sports, old TV shows. No patience with today's Republicans.

Why would anyone ever make a trade deal with us again? #Felon47 signed a revised NAFTA, then violated it. Why would anyone make any agreement with us again? He canceled the Iran nuclear deal, withdrew from Paris Climate Accord, etc. The world knows that any deal with us can't be trusted.

@joesudbay.bsky.social @johnfugelsang.bsky.social So, I guess #Felon47 now supports #SanctuaryFarms and #SanctuaryHotels. But sanctuary cities are an attack on America. I think I'm taking crazy pills. www.azcentral.com/story/news/p...

They certainly ignore what Jesus actually said. "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."

It is historically the date the Army was officially formed. "On June 14, 1775, the Congress passed a resolution forming the Continental Army." www.military.com/history/hist...

😁 Roll the tape, Fred.

Could be, but there is a limit to what the minority party can do. I think another part of it is people are frustrated and need somebody to blame.

Don't think I ever watched it, but he will always be Max Headroom to me.

And that is not a defense to the right wing claim that he didn't identify himself at all.

Went to find a laugh gif, but before I could enter a search term this was the first gif in the display. I'll just go with it. I'm old enough that I enjoyed their songs when they were first played by Top 40 radio. (For me WING 1410 Dayton, Steve Kirk and Gene 'by golly' Barry - now ESPN).

Don't simplify this and treat a generation as a monolith. The problem is not boomers. The problem is Republicons. The problem is not Congress. The problem is Republicons in Congress. People who don't care enough to vote also share blame.

One of the best skits of SNL in the last several years. A Les Mis spoof. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pj-D...

The idiot senator from Alabama probably just saw the movie Escape From LA and thought it was a documentary.

The point I don't know why legitimate media isn't constantly making is why would anyone make a deal with him when he rips them up at will? He signed his U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement in Jan 2020, then violated it months after he resumed office. He withdrew from Iran nuclear deal, Paris climate, etc

Watching the Tonys and a number from Death Becomes Her. Have closed captioning on. It says "Do It For the Gaze". Thought that strange, but OK. But "The Gaze Love Me" just doesn't make sense.

The last time was 1986, replacing Columbia (in 1983) who dropped out when FIFA increased the number of teams from 16 to 24. Of the 12 stadiums used, 7 do not meet the required 40,000 minimum capacity. In 2026 there will be 48 teams. Ave attendance at 2022 games was 53,000. Again, you are clueless.

You obviously are clueless. Bye.

They don't have the capacity. Planning is not that simple.

Logistically it might be fairly difficult to move the World Cup with just a year's notice. For instance- "In January 2024, renovations began on the lower bowl of MetLife Stadium to enlarge the playing field to meet necessary FIFA requirements."

How many University of Alabama football players does it take to screw in a lightbulb? Just one. And he gets 3 credits.
