Very eye-opening piece here. In a nutshell, Bukele cut a deal with MS-13 to operate freely but with less violence, Trump sends indicted MS-13 bigwigs back to El Salvador for kid glove treatment and dismisses charges that would have exposed all this. Security theater for all involved.
