After five months of solid hacking on this side project, I spun up the docs site today. Still a lot of work to do but feels like a milestone. And much needed

Put together a little guide for Read.cv alum on how to add support for case studies to the exported app. Thanks to the CV team for giving us the exported app in the first place gist.github.com/mark-tomlins...

I'm obliged to periodically remind you that I released an expansive CSS course that will take not just your CSS skills *beyond* the next level, but also fill you with lots of useful transferable skills like communication, strategy, planning and dealing with feedback. piccalil.li/complete-css/

I’m open sourcing coralUI because automating UI design and development handoff is not as important as saving the earth. I’m going all in on digital sustainability. More to come soon on that. In the meantime, here’s the core library, the Figma plugin and the playground. github.com/Coral-UI/core

Imagine you are living in a far-flung, much-blighted, and conference-bereft land. You can choose one css-focused conference to attend this year. Which do you choose?

Oh title tags should be 50 - 60 characters you say? But my 18th-century publisher will be most displeased.

Bluesky has almost reached the number of users I need to become too shy to post anything

I am available for new contract work. I have 20+ years 😩 experience in web design and development and I’m still learning. I have written courses and books that have influenced interface design across the industry. I love prototyping, writing documentation, creative coding, and #a11y. 👋

Courses from people who care are the best courses. If this is anything like the Smashing workshop Andy ran earlier in the year, you're in for a treat. I'd say some stuff about how Andy has had a tangible impact on my career but I don't want this to sound like an ad, or give him a big head

This from @chriscoyier.net packs so much insight and nuance in so little space it's crazy: chriscoyier.net/2024/11/07/d...

[yelling over club music] Do you think we’re ever truly forgiven

Bsky is reminding me of circa 2010 twitter right now. Antipodeans like me are sitting around waiting for people in the UK to wake up so there's something fresh in our feeds
