Is that technically an album? I've got it home somewhere and I think it's an EP.

Feels like the East India Company of the C18th whereby an entire subcontinent's wealth is asset-stripped and distributed to at most 200 families in South Eastern England

Even if this productivity benefit were to come true, who benefits? There's been no success (or even attempt) to distribute the wealth won so far by the Internet revolution - a stat around 10 years ago (?) had it that Amazon had extracted something like $3 trn from the US economy. Where's that?

I think if one reads about the post WW2 activities of Russian assets such as Harry Dexter White, they were motivated to believe they could establish a 2 superpower supremacy Russia-USA, at the expense of the defeated powers, central Europe and Britain/France. TBH I think that's where we may be.

I recall having a meeting with News International in London in about 2014 and more than half the people on the NI side were from Palantir - the place was crawling with them. This was the first time I'd come across them. Interesting if that was their entry point to UK.

Think he's been looking to get out. And Blackburn can also probably attract a decent boss in top 6 so win-win.

We've played them twice and beat them twice already, so if they have a sudden rebound of form they'll take points from others. They've yet to play Burnley at Derby.

Better counterfactual on that one - she was offered as a bride to Edward IV of England and he turned her down. There's a letter from her to Richard III where she's still quite miffed about it.

Hasn't quite yet and I don't think all the pieces are on the board - dem state governors still have a fair amount of power - but there was always a co-dependency in the two superpower system, going back in particular to Bretton Woods. Still in Act 1 or 2 though, I think.

On the other hand, we got to see what will happen if any of Piroe, Aaronson, James or Solomon (or even Meslier) is injured and personally am now not sleeping at nights

In the same way that Antony got to wait for the mid-terms to take on Octavian

Could say the same of any player (except Darlow). He's not yet good enough, might never get there. Also doesn't help Piroe at 10. What he could do with is a good stretch in the U21s, but we haven't take the U21s seriously since the 49ers took over.

Interesting thought experiment, if MB were available, would you take Bielsa back tomorrow, lose Farke (sorry Daniel) and more than likely not go up this year; or keep Farke and increase chance of going up? Personally, still the former (sorry again).

tbh I think Grayson had a more promising squad than Bielsa inherited

Bielsa's one of the greatest managers in the world, if not the greatest. Farke isn't, but he's v good for this level and we are where we are. DF had parachute payment funded teams at Norwich which then got asset stripped in EPL, so not entirely sure how he'll do long term. But right now he's ok

Going to be interesting how he positions it as "but my family really support Celtic" when Ange gets fired.

Also Everton would take a financial pasting that would keep them down for a while; and Leicester would hopefully and finally get a complete thumping from the EFL. Bear in mind the points deductions we got under Bates were introduced after & because of a string of unpunished Leicester administrations
