It’s a reminder that many living with cancer appear to others as “looking fine”.
It’s often an “invisible” disability for those that are living with it.

Tbf, awards are given for service & that alone.
It’s not about how effective that service is perceived to be. Every list will contain some people you like & some you might not - but all recipients will have put a shift in.

A friend down the pub told me. I won’t flounder trying to back it up-if it’s wrong then I apologise & I’ll tell my mate Dave he was wrong next time I see him. I’m happy to learn the true facts if there’s less chance of being shot in the US than the UK then I’d be pleased to know the facts👍

I do feel very sorry for US citizens having to live in a country where they are up to 100 times (per capita) more likely to be shot than in some other western civilisations.
I bet US citizens wish there wasn’t 1 gun in their country, so they could live a less fearful life👍

I suppose with the US murder rate 4 x higher than the UK you need a gun to defend yourself.
