That HP printer though… the full set of cartridges is in the ballpark of $1500-$2000. (We have similar ones at work so I know they ain’t cheap on the supplies front)

I can hear the announcement in my head… *musical jingle* “Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the Shinkansen. This is a Nozomi super express bound for Tokyo…”

Was it the taste, the texture, or both that put you off?

Are you meaning JR-Namba, Namba (Metro), Namba (Kintetsu), or Namba (Nankai)? 😂

Interesting new routes for United from Narita coming up soon operated on the 737s in the Guam pool: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

Going thru security is easy. Belt off for a short while ain’t a problem. Most scanners now are the “keep everything in your bag” type thankfully.

Oh in that case it should be pretty simple. Get to the airport with a couple hours to spare (there’s works going on T1 INT DEP). Make sure you’ve filled the NZ declaration online. Of all destinations NZ is pretty easy all things considered

What kind of tips are you after? Many flight taker/many airport visitor here

Hah! Getting full I-to-I transit in the states ain’t gonna happen. Would require radical changes to their processes & terminal construction. The most that happens is a selection of limited exemptions to baggage/customs processes on I-to-I at only a couple airports (think MIA & DFW?)

Maybe I’ve just been lucky then the times I’ve landed that it’s usually been under 1h to get thru Immi - DFW last time was about 1.5h 😒. Wish that the USA embraced the idea of smart gates (or at least the ESTA kiosks to speed this shit up some)

I have heard zero good things about CDG - not been thru it yet myself. MAD (at least T4) is just so huge it takes ages to get anywhere. LAX tho, it gets a lot of hate…but I think it’s actually not too terrible?

A jockstrap & matching colour harness? I have no idea what one would wear to such things but seeing how other gay parties end up?

Think Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. (I also acknowledge that how one dresses may not come across so well in an audio format)

Do you have any Australian locos to compare it to? (To highlight just how ridiculously oversized the North American loading gauge is)

Don’t hold your breath… “Auckland Transport is responsible for the region’s public transport service. It will be responsible for determining the routes and new timetables. It is expected to open in 2026.” Per: www.cityraillink.co.nz

I know that feel. Office days for me end up really busy but inevitably don’t resolve many things. However being able to help or discuss things in person is way easier

See I’ve never had any issues with them like that. I got the card & their multi currency account when Citi exited AU consumer market. But now with Wise/Revolut that fills the multi currency side.

Combined with no additional features or benefits, and in fact a reduced points earn rate from when I first got the card. It’s purely an increase for the sake of it. Rumours suggest HSBC want to offload consumer banking in AU. Easy way to boost the alleged value of business.

I have just realised these may be in the wrong cardinal direction order. Oops.
