Who in the hell is this possibly-robotic woman posting about lumber and deer and shit with over 2,000 followers?

This is where I mourn MoCo's lack of density because I hate that I live in a bustling suburb (Rockville/Aspen Hill/Wheaton) that is still not dense enough to warrant CaBi or a big investment from Lime.

Okay, but if the cyclist was riding properly and still got hit, then . . .
I don't know why I'm even trying, logic isn't going to work here.

So, part of the frustration here, is I have two five-year-olds, so they're already at the upper limit of bike trailers. BUT, e-bikes are EXPENSIVE yo! I'd love to bike the kids to school, but man is it expensive.

I'm usually a positive presence in Natali Fani-Gonzalez's Bluesky feed, but I MAY have quote-skeeted this to her yesterday. MAYBE.

"Studies . . . do find that individual cyclists do benefit from wearing a helmet. For instance, e-bike riders with head trauma seeking hospital care went up 49-fold from 2017 to 2022."
So, I mean, sure, ridership decreases because it's an inconvenience. But it's not TOTALLY out of left field here.
