My friend who just got laid off from his long-time important VA job is frightened. He has a child who is an insulin-dependent diabetic, a pregnant wife and a mortgage. He will lose his health insurance and probably his home. WHY? What is Trump/Musk and all of the shit head MAGAs getting out of it?

Checkout line at market. One old guy with MAGA hat on told his friend that he never thought the changes would affect him. He thought only the libs who bought into DEI would suffer. BUT, his grandson just got laid off from an important job at the VA, will lose his health insurance and his house.

Pay attention to the ripple economic effect of the workers being terminated. They lose their health insurance, there are few jobs in the market, they sell their homes at a discount, food is expensive with a shortage and they are not shopping. You may still be working, but your house lost value.
