As a kid, my mom explained to me that spitting on the sidewalk was illegal, but was one of many rarely enforced âugly lawsâ. It was so cops could arrest anyone anytime to âcleanup the streetsâ before a dignitary arrived, or before a parade.
If you think youâre safe & not a law breaker, youâre wrong

I think the biggest trick to Obsidian is downloading two plug-ins:
One gives you a standard editing toolbar, so you can do your normal formatting by clicking on B for bold, I for italics, etc, and donât have to learn any special syntax.
The other imports your Evernote library perfectly.
Thatâs it

Ouch. Okay, this one cuts me WAY deeper than most AuDHD memes. All my life. All my college classes. Every club. Every sport. Every friend group. Hell, every acquaintance. You know youâre going to disappoint them.
This is one key aspect of being AuDHD as perfectly described as Iâve ever seen it

Welcome to Amerikkka.
Scratch that, youâre not really welcome here. Nor are you safe here. None of us are.

Explaining to my 8 year old why no one else is wearing an N95 is the hardest part.
She wants to educate them. She assumes they must not know. She has a big heart, and wants to keep her friends at school safe.
How to explain to her when I also do not understand why society gave up?

I fâing hate that this is a concern of mine. Iâm not a prepper. Just a realist who pays attention to whatâs been going on in the world.
Thereâs now a firm nonnegative chance of societal breakdown in the next decade. If Iâm planning to stay in the next location for 20 yrs I have to think about that.

âRain Manâ (1988) truly fucked with American views on what âautisticâ means. Most Gen X and Boomers still believe that all autists require Level III support.
This is one reason itâs so important to remove Aspergerâs from the lexicon and call us all #autistic. A wide umbrella protects more people.
