Update: my old data drive is cooked. Windows couldn't read it and won't even show it now. I last did a backup in mid-September. 😫 I'm going to take it to a place to attempt data recovery, but as of right now, I've lost everything I did over the past five months, including my current story. FML.

I've seen a few people mention (one to me) others before and now today that libraries are advocating free stuff/not sales for the author. Libraries don't acquire books by magic. They buy copies with money. It can be hundreds/thousands of sales. People pay taxes to use the library. Nothing is free.
