And I thought that Musk was the only person who thought SS is punk...

I struggle to see how any credibility is attached to the scores from a piece of software that fails so spectacularly on a really obvious test case.

The one thing that annoyingly comes as a cheque until very recently is the refund on unused vehicle excise duty on the UK when you sell a car. It was cheque only in 2022 - but even that changed to bank transfer by 2024 the last time I used it.

Somewhere I have the cheque book from my previous bank account which I opened in 2005. I think I might have used three from it - all before 2008.

I imagine it is partly due to their love of leaving things to the free market and avoiding regulation. The idea that people take your card away and you aren't always certain how much you have been charged on it also baffles me.

Was that the original plan with the cave rescue guy? He just blurred out the last bit of his plan too soon...

I never cease to be amazed by how many people in the US use third party transfer services because their banking system is so broken. They still have carbon paper swipe machines for credit cards in some places there...

I currently live in a Sydney suburb where only 6.6% of people have both parents born in Aus (and where 44.6% off perle were born overseas) and it is a great place to live, despite what some who have never visited it try to claim.

Bankstown metro station is looking like an actual building now. I feel that the roads leading to it are still rather lacklustre though for the grand avenue it creates. Can take some pics if your are interested.

I'm slightly surprised that France is such a big market - it doesn't fit with the notion that their men all have actual mistress. "The French audience is Pornhub's second-largest in the world, after the United States and ahead of the Philippines, Mexico and the United Kingdom"

The sites are owned by a firm called "Ethical Capital Partners". Now, they might not be the worst sites out there - but I'm not sure everyone would categories them as ethical. www.politico.eu/article/porn...

All we need to do now is divide the population up using some dodgy measure (say social media followers) and the let the Morlocks live down there while the Eloi stay on top in the sunshine.

Aircraft Fuselage is a weird measure - seeing as they come in a huge range of sizes.

They're lucky Nicholas Witchell didn't restrain them...

It was weird - especially as Piers Corbyn seemed to be the only other person to use that term prior to that article.

Bitcoin relies on the previous Blockchain entries all being present - how can this reconcile with disappearing messages? And built ON Rust? Rust is a language, not a platform or framework.
