Fun fact, you can see this nebula with the naked eye even from light-polluted places. Look for the middle “star” in Orion’s sword… that’s the Orion Nebula!

On the right, a picture by the Hubble Telescope. £16bn, built in the 70s/80s and spent 30 years in space. On the left, a picture by a £900 telescope from 2019. Both are incredible for different reasons. Tech is amazing!
