Anyone who says "don't protest at night" is either a literal undercover or a moron. The "worst" happens at night because it's the time that protests are most effective, because the state has a harder time targeting protesters. There's a reason the third precinct was put to the torch at night.

The most third way article ever. Materially, this would provide little that would limit actual transgender life, it's just the most dogwater political strategy for getting there you've ever heard (Concede basically all cultural argument then act like you can win all of the other fights after that)

"This mutual aid strategy is illegal!" Is a bad argument - mutual aid is strategically alegal (clean needles are "drug paraphernalia" and therefore potentially a crime in some jurisdictions, at least historically, as are many safe use supplies. "Oh my God stop narcing shut up" is a better one.

Also, the idea that referencing "next year in Jerusalem", which is what I assume they mean by that being a Zionist dog whistle and predates Zionism by hundreds of Years! is a "Zionist dog whistle" is, unambiguously, antisemitism. The idea that Jewish practices are inherently Zionist is antisemitism!

Correct. This is what the kids say. Nobody say otherwise

ho-meow-ner.

Please highlight this story. ICE stormed into the wrong house, trashed the place, and made women/girls stand outside in the rain in their underwear. ICE also stole phones, laptops, and cash savings from the family, who moved to OKC two weeks ago. kfor.com/news/local/w...

Free market (spins wheel) ... Nixon shock?

"This person" oooh, the fascists are doing the degendering shit now! Is this progress over outright misgendering? Who the hell knows!

I must not be the first person to bring this up But there has never been a more vindicated guy

Quick note from a former student activist: the signs are often deeply disturbing and sometimes include graphic imagery. The thing student activists are aiming for in a counter protest

To be fair too much blood *does* make you sick, just not in the 1867 sense - a family member had a really rough struggle with polycythemia when I was in my late teens. (He's still alive and kicking, it's just pretty well controlled now). This doesn't detract from the courage, of course.

Law firms and universities will really be like "you did property damage? that pales in effectiveness to my strategy, nonviolent resistence" and then not nonviolently resist
