I had the privilege of waking him from a nap once. He was very kind.

Yes, awful. Seeing homes and businesses on the PCH burn was somehow more shocking to me than the other footage. I guess because I’ve driven that stretch many times, and also because it’s strange to imagine fire meeting sand/ocean.

You’ve just saved my marriage.

I did šŸ˜‚ It actually helped me to regroup and get back to work in the afternoon. I love nap season!

Yes, my tree and lights are still up, too. I also have a ceramic tree with little lights on it that I’m keeping on the mantel for now because it makes me happy.

What is this Christmas card box of which you speak?

Really! Hmm. That’s interesting. I’m not sure what the difference is, but if she’s happy then all is well.

It was. I still have the tree and the lights up to give us one more night of beauty. Baby steps.

I believe there is no algo here. If it helps, you can have a look at the people I’m following and then follow the folks you recognize from Threads. There are also a bunch of starter packs, but beware: they tend to be very big, and the accounts in them get inundated by followers.

Right? Thanks. I’m currently having a rest because it was a little exhausting. Soon I’ll rally.

I don’t know what that means, but it sounds friendly!

I like it. Many people use ā€œRegards,ā€ but you’re reminding us that there’s but the one, and it’s fond.

However, I have burned my mouth three times in two days. Still working out the kinks.

I get it! They are my favorite squares. They feel like a call out: yeah, you persecuted me, but I’m not staying silent about it. (ā€œPersecutionā€ may be a bit of an overstatement. Or maybe it’s not!)
