It seems effective LB & RB positions are the hardest to find for MLS teams...without paying a lot of money, so they're trying to homegrown those as much as possible, while paying for the other premium positions. Because of that, those positions have felt underwhelming, like you mentioned, for years.

There's a pretty severe lack of WinCo in the immediate Seattle area you have to go quite a bit north or south to get to one.
