Vertical construction is economically wasteful compared to horizontal construction. We only build up in dense cities where available acreage does not match residential/commercial potential. Land demand is lower, so land value is lower, so building height is lower. Conceivable, yes. Potential, no.

If Ducks had won their past 2 games, those extrapolations entirely flip:
Jets: 119
Stars: 112.5
Avs: 103.2
Wild: 94
Blues: 90.8
UHC: 90.7
Knights: 110
Kings: 96.1
Ducks: 95
Oilers: 93.2
Canucks: 87
Ducks climb to Pacific third seed, bumping Edmonton to WC2, and bumping St. Louis.

Terrible proxy, but extrapolating the remaining games of the season based solely on last 10 record for @notnhl.bsky.social Western playoff hunt team, you would end up with:
Jets: 119
Stars: 112.5
Avs: 103.2
Wild: 94
Blues: 94.5
UHC: 90.7
Knights: 110
Oilers: 93.2
Kings: 96.1
Canucks: 93
Ducks: 83

It stings because the Ducks were so hot before slipping in Van and StL games, both of which felt must-win. There is still a narrow playoff path because Minn (9-12-0), Edm (5-7-1), LA (8-10-4), Cal (6-7-3), & Vancouver (13-13-5) have all played terrible recently.

Sounds kind of like a DEI hire to me. There weren't enough unqualified, retired lapdogs in the upper ranks, so they artificially promoted one.
