This is infuriating. Van Hollen went into a seriously dangerous situation and this response is milquetoast at best. Due process is a worthy hill to die on. Primary the cowards who would stand in the way to keep the crumbling status quo afloat.

I was ripped to shreds on
#CNN for standing up for the safety of the American military before Hegseth was hired. Told l was a "disgrace" who should be "ashamed of myself", berated through the commercial break and threatened with defamation. Look where we are now.

The ending of the Fairness Doctrine has certainly not helped. Ever listen to far right radio? You’ll come across it nonstop if you’re driving in the Midwest through these little towns. It is vile hateful rhetoric against leftists, immigrants, lgbtq+, etc.
