Sorry, I didn’t know you’d done that. Do you have a video about this? I’m a relatively new subscriber to your channel and would be interested as to what led to you doing that.

UK freedom of speech laws, where the Guardian is based, aren’t as protected as America’s and we don’t have anti-SLAAP laws, so “appears to make” is a legal protection.

It’s no surprise this comes after Novara having Ana Kasparian on after she grifts to TERF, then Michael Walker starts talking TERF, then Bastini criticises viewers for calling out Walker. Feels like they are trying to get more mainstream media bookings as the “sensible left”.

I’m still only 60/40 on that being a joke and not a real thing he did and said.

And also, unlike what bigoted fuckwits would have us believe, nobody came for your head for accidentally misgendering someone.

Dear Lord, that’s not nuance, that’s revisionism. Ukraine’s prior prime minister was a pro-Russian plant. That’s how Russia operates. Russia is an imperialist country that still uses the colonial tactics of the British empire. The only existential threat was to the creation of a new Russian empire.

A logical fallacy is when someone uses a rhetorical tool, like “spheres of influence” to justify a stance. Only one of us did that and I’m replying to that person. And nothing you said has anything to do with Russia invading Ukraine because Russia has invaded countries that don’t get US money.
comment in response to post
Yeah, not a big fan of logical fallacies. Spheres of influence has nothing to do with the level of, or type of criticism we have. Especially on a social media platform talking to a British political commentator. How much the US spent has no bearing on Russia’s multiple invasions of Ukraine.

Fake Leftists only highlight US actions and act like European/ex-USSR states have no autonomy. Finland had to cede territory to Russia following them being invaded, redid elections to placate Russia out of fear of being attacked. Russia is an aggressive, imperialist force.

That’s for Ukraine to decide and for us to support them as per the original peace agreement. Ukraine was required to give its nukes to Russia in exchange for Russia respecting its borders and sovereignty with the western countries enforcing it. Ukraine gave up its nukes.
comment in response to post
Because Russia isn’t interested in peace. Their rhetoric is that Ukraine was a mistake and shouldn’t exist. Russia broke the last peace agreement. The terms Russia wants gives Ukraine less protection than the last peace agreement Russia broke.

That hard evidence has existed since he was in UKIP. Which is my point, what’s the use of publishing figures about how many women MP’s there are when the party next to you has an unrepentant, convicted woman beater? Without a follow up plan it’s just virtue signalling.
comment in response to post
But what action is going to be done on it? Farage openly stated small businesses should be allowed to discriminate against women because women get pregnant. His party having zero female MP’s is a feature, not a bug.

Indiana Jones was two months ago.

I enjoy Eurogamer but Avowed is releasing two months after Indiana Jones, a single player RPG with no microtransactions. They are both even from the same publisher.

Not surprised that the guy a jury found sexually assaulted a woman is pushing the “Ukraine’s skirt was too short” victim blaming propaganda.

Trump isn't the threat. Someone competent who comes next is.

Can we have these podcasts segmented and reposted like Politics Joe? I really enjoy the podcast but my farmer wife colleague is only going to be interested in the Iolo Williams section. Sharing a 15min vid is easier than a 45+ minute podcast and it might bring in new subscribers.

Today I found out that the upgraded TK attack can rip the armour straight off the Arkons. Taking the chest piece off and throwing it in their face is fun.

You can tell the nature of the subreddit by their sources. The UK subreddit is mostly Telegraph, The Sun and the Daily Mail. The other subreddits aren’t great but it’s less of that.
comment in response to post
The UK subreddit is the tabloid subreddit. The individual countries are more “fuck this guy”.

People in Port Talbot were promised a plan to save jobs by Labour in the General Election, only to be let down. We need new leadership with Plaid Cymru.
