JD doesn’t offer any evidence to that claim, but still asserts it with total confidence. Claims like that go viral, and very few people ever see the debunk.

Probably a net positive. It might make reviewers take the process more seriously if they know their reviews will be public. I also hope this change is being studied by Nature in some way (number of reviewers, quality of reviews etc, before and after the change).

You’re right! Misinformation isn’t just about gullibility; it’s rooted in psychology, group identity, and trust. The goal isn’t to make people admit they’re wrong, but to create space for them to reflect on their beliefs without feeling judged. I hope my book helps contribute to that conversation.
