Getting fired by Trump is a badge of honor.

Can we stop talking about "audits"? An audit takes time -- weeks and months for even a small business, and that assumes the auditors are very familiar with the industry and the specific business. Whatever DOGE is doing, it's not audits.

Amazing that a couple of 21-year-olds can audit a billion-dollar organization in a couple of days. Deloitte, PwC, etc need to really trim their audit staff.

What percent of the federal workforce has Elon fired? Does it reach 1%?

Tesla's stock is ridiculously overvalued, and even a modest consumer boycott could tank the company, which accounts for the majority of Elon Musk's wealth. The divestment movement weakened apartheid South Africa. Let's do that again. slate.com/business/202...

Maybe the Supreme Court should apply the "historical tradition" test to questions about a "unitary executive".

I've been an IT guy for 30+ years. I'm sure the Treasury Department's code is in a repository and can be rolled back. But if you screw up the data, for example in the databases or in the flows between applications, that can be very time-consuming to track down and fix.

Before the election there was a lot of talk about Trump possibly having dementia. Where are we with that now?

Tesla stock, Elon Musk's source of wealth, is still roughly double what it was two months ago. This is supported only by the continued sales of Teslas.

Mixed news on Tesla: sales down in California, but Cybertrucks are selling. Maybe it's the new "must have" MAGA accessory? finance.yahoo.com/news/tesla-s...

Friends don't let friends buy Teslas. Just say no.

Dozens of EVs coming in 2025 and beyond that aren't Teslas. www.caranddriver.com/news/g299943...

Trump has been revoking people's security details left and right. What is he going to do if something happens to one of them? The American public is not going to be very understanding, and he'll have to retaliate against the country that did it. It's a lose-lose-lose situation.

Well, at least some of the Dutch are abandoning Tesla. Now if we could just get liberals, progressives and Democrats in the US to stop buying them ... insideevs.com/news/747944/...

If you buy a Tesla, you are directly supporting Elon Musk's wealth, and you are directly supporting the fascist takeover of our country.

Anyone want to bet on how soon a J6 criminal will commit another violent crime? They've been released back into their communities and now have both a sense of grievance and of being above the law.

I went to a pretty liberal college (Pomona College), class of '94. We all knew that the founder of Domino's pizza was a big enemy of abortion rights. And yet, somehow, we all kept buying Domino's. 30 years later, it's still there.

Elon will be gone in 90 days if we can just stop buying his cars. Here are some alternatives: cars.usnews.com/cars-trucks/...

It looks like we're going to have to live with Trump for 4 years, but if liberals, progressives, and Democrats would just stop buying Teslas, Elon would be gone in less than 90 days.

NYC needs 500,000 new housing units to end the "housing emergency", so its new rezoning plan allows 80,000. www.nytimes.com/2025/01/19/n...

I'm glad that Carrie Underwood and The Village People are losing life-long fans. But where are the calls to stop buying Teslas? Why is there complete silence on this issue from Bsky's biggest voices.
