They found out what he'd done as a result of him being charged over January 6th. He's trying to argue that if he's pardoned over January 6th then the investigation should never have happened, so his child abuse would have remained hidden.

It depends. Japan tended to regard the Atom bomb as just more bombing. Except it was one bomb instead of lots of bombs. Tokyo had been so heavily bombed by conventional bombing it wasn't chosen for an A-bomb as it was thought no one would see what the effect was. A bigger deal was Russia no...

How is it "better?"
"Donald Trump has said it may be better to let Ukraine and Russia “fight for a while” rather than pursue peace immediately, as the German chancellor, Friedrich Merz, urged him to increase pressure on Russia."

We need to wait a few hours, both will seem to wait for a bit and then go with, "and another thing" in the early hours of the morning. Neither of them can walk away from a Twitter fight. Both have huge egos. This will get ugly.

5% by every Nato member would be too much.
See at 50 minutes though it covers every Nato member going to 2.5% etc before that.
5% makes Europe the biggest military force on the planet, bigger than America.

And where will we train people?
They would need uniforms, weapons, ammunition, instructors, barracks. This is Swynnerton training camp. Currently housing Afghans.

Finland was invaded by Russia in the Winter War, and could be again. They have an incentive to serve.

This. The only people who ever advocate for National Service are those who will never do it themselves. National Service is for World Wars or a country likely to be invaded. The UK isn't going to be invaded. The UK is an island nation. So we've always had a big navy and small professional army.

Note, when you are conscripted, you aren't getting a say anyway. Those conscripted in the World Wars or in Ukraine aren't getting a choice.

For Canada to produce nuclear weapons it would need to either build centrifuges to enrich its uranium or reprocess spent fuel to get Plutonium. Both are large operations and that only gets you the elements. No country can easily produce a bomb without others knowing.

The nukes were on Ukraine's soil but under Russian control. They weren't Ukraine's missiles. If Montana left America, it would be a similar situation.

Russia has been losing for the last three years. It holds less ground than in 2022, lost the Moskva and the Black Sea Fleet, the economy is tanking, had a mutiny, lost Syria, lost its armour, lost strategic bombers, lost refineries, lost almost a 100,000, and has a GDP similar to Spain.

Pretty sure that 18 months ago when they started planning the drone op, they didn't think, we'll just do this one job and that's it.
