observant, the 'gap' between where you are and your goal is very visible; and often discouraging. But it's only by continuing to do a lot of work that you can shorten the gap between where you are and your goal. What you see as a "mistake" now, you might later realise helped you narrow the gap.

Yeah I definitely feel that way quite often, and I think often the best choice is to walk down the wrong path and regret it later. I would say that almost anyone I know who does something interesting feels a similar way. And I would rather keep at it and make new "mistakes". Because artists are
