Happening now: protesters are outside the Fine Arts Building on Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago this evening. People are in line to see House of Reps Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries for an event tonight promoting his recently released book. Crowd chanting at them, "we don't need a book tour!"

When I talk to kids today and they ask me what I would do if I were 12 today, my answer is always the same, read books and learn how to use AI in every way shape and form you can. It is a living library that gives you responses and can help no matter who you are or where you live.

Yes. But they are missing that much of this has to be performative. That’s what Trump is great at and Dems are awful at. You can’t just tell voters , you have to know how to sell voters. Trump gives sales pitches, Dems show charts. One goes viral. The other is ignored and forgotten

Well just deleted my second Twitter account in as many months. I wanted to try and understand the other side, but it's just too vile. Also deleted Facebook and every gross "Meta" account, that one was personal.

Washington is full of rule-following valedictorians who were inspired by the West Wing and did Model UN and moot court and studied their heroes and who believe in using government to help people. That's nice, but you need to learn how to swing on the illiterate bullies who steal lunch money.

My Facebook account has been suspended and the only way to appeal is to log into Facebook which is obviously impossible. Not sure I care but WTH? If it wasn't for family connections I probably wouldn't care. Should I try to fight this?
