I watched the first 10 minutes and couldn’t take anymore.

There is some research suggesting that gambling addiction is as bad as heroin. I heard a lot of stories worse than mine at Gamblers Anonymous meetings. The widespread legalization of gambling feels to me as morally the equivalent of subsidizing heroin and meth.

I met him a couple times when I was a lawyer, and struck me as a brilliant lawyer, but something of a dick. Had no inkling of any of the gambling stuff, but considering my own experience with compulsive gambling (7+years clean) the rest isn’t surprising

For those curious about costs: · the lasagna meals are $0.94 / serving, and · the salisbury steak with gravy meals are $1.60 / serving We've got enough meals now that we could eat something different every other day for a month.

Let’s also acknowledge the incredible pressure she’s been under, stepping in to stop America from becoming a dictatorship. SHE HAS NOT BLINKED. She stepped up EVERY TIME and hit her mark. Just amazing toughness.

He was used to players who could sit down and just play whatever. The Beatles were not that, however I may love their music.

My great great uncle was a Union spy who helped gather data on troop movements. He was a Jewish hoop skirt manufacturer based in Louisville, and as he traveled he made notes. Apparently it was crucial to Sherman’s march.

Personally, I loved when he called the Beatles “no-playing mother fuckers.”

Someone else (Michael Cohen maybe?) already told the story of sleeping with his friends’ wives. That’s not new.

Her speech made me tear up, for real. She went way out of her comfort zone to make a political speech, and she made it with passion

Will it be illegal for me to make my own mayo? Will the police break down the door to search for illegal condiments?

What New Yorkers are is crunched for time, because so many things take much longer than they would elsewhere. I’ve always found New Yorkers to be ready to help and generally the kindest and most generous people.

We gave out full size candy, and the looks on the kids’ faces was totally worth it! Percy had to stay in the bedroom with my wife, though.

There are some counterfeit signs. There was a woman on a local FB group looking for a sign, complaining that the campaign/party didn’t have any.

There aren’t as many Trump signs in KY as I expected. My guess is the campaign has such bad ground game, signs are hard to get. I’m not reading more into it.
