For years? For many, many years. The dynamic was similar in 1968 when younger Dems gravitated to McCarthy or RFK, while older Dems tended to support Humphrey. In 1972, McGovern performed much better with younger than older Dems. Bernie did better with younger Dems than he did with older Dems.

Yes, truly insane. Austin is an oven from Memorial Day to Labor day. Were the venue cities chosen by FIFA or were they chosen by the U.S. organizers?

Yes, this guy is an offensive stud. He’s also a pain in the butt for coaches and managers. He believes he should be able to tell his employer exactly what position he is willing to play.

The Red Sox and the Rangers might fall in that category. Not sure. A team’s reputation is often earned, but a younger player might be answering this poll based mainly on what they’ve heard from a few teammates — which may or may not be reliable.

So far, at least, the teams with the “worst reputations” appear to be well below .500 in the standings. MLB players aren’t really answering the poll with the broader perspective that you probably hoped to get.

Nothing that happens is ever “wrong” or “unacceptable” to Collins; it “raises serious questions.” Timidity prevails.

You have a good point, but I think you have gone overboard vilifying Nichols.
