Good to hear. Went to the one here on Maui. Did the soul good.

Fellow Gen Jones here. I agree with everything you write, except this. Leonard Cohen was great. Oh, Indian food. And Led Z had some good tunes. And I wear flip flops on planes, cuz, Hawaii. But other than that

Woke up there on 9/11. Surreal af. Remember hanging out at the pool in the aftermath with everyone else who was stuck there, like it was Casablanca. We all cheered when the first jet flew over after the groundings were lifted.

All I know is that I remember it being Berenstein, not Berenstain, so I’m obviously in a simulation, or bouncing between parallel universes

Omg please take me back to a time when I didn’t know this

Literally no one else on the planet is surprised but him

I think they got better at using it as a plot device in ds9

Not sure about that. You’re assuming voters are rational. They’re not. It’s a reality show at this point and no one can predict what the audience will be attracted to

Well, I ate one. About 60 years ago.

I really appreciate these posts, so don’t take this as criticism. But the 91% accuracy is a bit misleading in that 9 of these miscalls were within an inch of being correct, 6 of them within ½ an inch. One was 0” off!

Just saw this. I know we’re on the same side. And the goebbels comparison isn’t perfect. He apparently had speaking skills that miller lacks. Maybe Rosenberg. Now there was a slimy ideologue piece of work that had an outsized influence on dear leader. In the shadows for the most part.

I believe we went there on our honeymoon in 2004. Watched the 6th game of the ALCS with Yankees hats on. They were very polite and respectful. Ofc, they won, so they were at an advantage.

He was scary dangerous. I could be wrong but I don’t see Miller even close to that

They deserve eternal gratitude
comment in response to post
Yeah, at the risk of sounding like I’m praising Heydrich, he smart and had the iron will that probably would have made him a successor. Thank god someone was able to eliminate him
comment in response to post
Honestly, Heydrich was a monster, but Miller isn’t even a close comparison. Miller’s pathetic and weak and craven. Goebbels is really a closer comparison because he was just as sniveling and weak as Miller
comment in response to post
It’s surprisingly harsh. But I like it

I used to regularly have dinner with a friend at Outback who would order a cheeseburger and, without fail, tell the waitress to “86 the seasoning” and I would die laughing every time. It sounded so noir.

He needs to take a swig of that Rock Creek Sewage Water he’s got in front of him

Wow. I’m so sorry you had to do that, lol

Also, the calls contributed to Fried’s high pitch count and early exit. 5 strikes called as balls. One was 3.5 inches inside the strike zone!
