My doctoral studies are possible due to my faculty funding: without it, I would not be producing research into Christian extremism in Canada, an under-researched topic. Farming out TA tasks to a computer programme removes the humanity from the humanities. It harms scholarship.

A reminder that Canada Post workers wanted to do rotating strikes, so mail could still be delivered. The corporation then locked them out. Our government needs to stay out of labour disputes. If you support the gov't ordering postal workers back to work, you do not support workers rights, full stop.
