This was the first of my self-guided #dnd date choose-your-own-adventures. Relatively simple, but I loved using the opportunity to make even the mundane places that you would never have the time to describe in-depth at the table seem drenched in life and a long-forgotten history.

Across multiple of my settings, different versions of the College of Canon Opera and the Jester's Union - both bardic factions - have fought each other tirelessly. One seeks to control and define 'Truth' to preserve order and the greater good, the other to reveal injustices and set it free.

Elvis Adrahson, my Aasimar Divine Soul Sorc in my wife's #dnd game. A disaster messiah, 8 INT, 19 CHA, terrible cook, ermine polymorph, pegged silly-style by his tiefling gf, fucked his homie (also a tief), created a deer-rabbit homunculus called Summersault, turns into a eldritch angel sometimes.

Managing #roleplay for a dozen players was a bit of a handful, so I took to crafting these little text-based choose-your-own adventures. The players loved taking each other dates and mini-adventures, discovering titbits of lore I hid throughout, and writing fics to share with each other afterwards.

Shamelessly pilfered from @garthnix.bsky.social's novels (some of my favourite as a child), the Abhorsen's Oath was taken by PC in my Mura #dnd Game, setting them on path to face the undead hoards. The 9 Gates of Death would return in a future campaign as a crucial plot point in my Ciora setting.

One of the first NPCs I ever made for #dnd or any #ttrpg for that matter, Morek was a faerie dragon whose only purpose was to eat cheese and fuck with the player characters. Years later one of my players have me this sheet as a memento. Now he can go on to fuck with PCs in your game too 😅
