Odesa, one “s”, please. The double “s” is from the old Soviet era spelling

To be fair, France celebrates on the 8th just to name one country, and the Dutch on the 5th.

I really wanted to use a European AI provider, assuming their privacy policies would be better than the American / Chinese ones. But apparently not. Seems like claude.ai is actually better at transparency and privacy than Mistral's :(

I had just created an account and _obviously_ wasn't sending them a huge amount of data yet, but now that's not happening anymore. Canceled subscriptions, deleted account.

With respect, it’s still crazy that you guys think it’s important a president goes to church at all. I don’t even know if our politicians are Christian or not, nor do I care…

Switched our plans from US to Canada. Until you’ve cleaned things up, I’m not coming over anymore.
comment in response to post
Yup, I canceled out US plans for this summer. No fucking way I’m going there willingly.

Therefore, roughly 68% of the total eligible voting population was either ok with him potentially winning, voted for him, or didn’t give a flying phukk.
comment in response to post
Yes, and apparently very few people have. Only about 63.9% of the US eligible voting population actually voted in November of 2024, of which (obviously) less than half voted for Harris. In other words, only just slightly under 32% gave enough fucks to go vote against him.

You don’t think power has already been abused, and people already did get hurt?
comment in response to post
I meant it’s on them. The people that didn’t vote, for whatever reason, or voted for him. Which sadly is the vast, VAST majority rn
comment in response to post
I’m afraid some of the normals ones skipped voting day because “genocide Joe”, some others thought it wouldn’t be this bad, and some thought he wouldn’t win again anyway. I feel for the people that actually went out to vote (which I’m pretty sure is 99% of my US friends), but otherwise: it’s on you

I’m sorry but I ABSOLUTELY blame them

There not very vocal about it anyway… I might be naive but if I were a Brit, rejoining would sound like a glorious idea to me right now
