What a fantastic pair of games. I wish I could mind-wipe and play both games all over again for the first time. Glad you enjoyed them!

- but at least in a cerebral space where being bodiless is the norm, it’s easier to feel euphoria and excitement.
This potential discovery may be a key to being less clumsy / accident prone and developing the proprioception needed for physical coordination - like yoga or dance!

- like reality had a backstage I could allllmooost peek behind.
After posting this, I stumbled upon Depersonalization / Derealization - and w/ your mention of it, sounds like it’s worth looking into.
Out-of-Body means somatic detachment, too - joy as second-hand and more cerebral. Def a QoL issue-

Wow, thank you for sharing, Jett! Brains are def quirky. I’m endlessly fascinated with “normal” experiences not, in fact, being the norm.
Kid-you, too? The world never felt “real” even as a young kid - like, I would laugh uncontrollably (& disruptively) at how absurd and surreal everything felt -

I have a similar attitude of not expecting the role, though I like to frame it as, “I have been booked for this one day to play this character, and then my work here is done. If I get called upon to play this character again, it will be a new chance to play.”

AMAZING example!!! That was the only line of dialogue I recognized from the series before I started watching it.

Poor Licka Tesla (under the care of Eata Jimsok) thought they lost because their team wasn’t good enough and the other team was better.
If they sign this, they want to know if they get a trophy, and feels good the collector prolly knows what it’s like to suck so much.

There are so many different ways that could go, but YES

And I also can’t look at a perpetually boxed toy without thinking of Stinky Pete from Toy Story. I didn’t buy packaging - I bought what’s inside.

I’m the same way! I like things in packaging, and I tend to keep old boxes - but the key point for me is to *use* them!

Don’t play with your toys and your games - keep them in the box! Those are Collectors’ Items!
Hold onto them long enough, and someday you can sell them at a high price (to someone else who intends to hold on to them long enough to sell at an even higher price)!

I wonder what level of energy is worth spending on playing “scientific method” for identifying symptom-sources and energy-boosters.
The determined part of me wants to fight it - solve it - fix it - power above it.
But the tired part wants to enjoy what energy-gifts I have.
How to budget the 🥄s?

I have created so many rules to offset flare-ups that can last anywhere from hours to weeks. Some rules can be super reliable until one day they aren’t. Safe zones switch to penalty zones. And vice-versa.
Sometimes chasing down the patterns feels like trying to read my horoscope in the breadcrumbs.

Relate. XTwitter is what happens when you take out the carbon monoxide detectors because all the beeping was making you sick.

I don't remember which early-2000's message board I read it on, but I was *very* intrigued with the idea of Bruce Willis as Ganondorf.
Jake Lloyd as Kid Link and Leonardo DiCaprio as Adult Link felt right, but just a bit on the nose.

It's so great to see.
I think the realistic video game vibe thrives best in a TV format (The Last of US, Fallout).
As features go, I've dreaded the idea of a realistic Zelda film ever since OoT.
(I did find the idea of Leo DiCaprio as Link & Bruce Willis as Ganondorf strangely appealing, though)

This is a solid approach - def on board with this.

This may be a very timely post to read, as my PS4 just stopped recognizing DVDs! It still accepts games with some struggle. It sounds like the reader gets stuck in some way. May just need a clean!

It’s so hard to avoid! Fortunately, more people are now more aware of allium intolerance than they were a few years ago.
When I described my symptoms to my doctors, dietitians, and gastroenterologists years ago, they said it didn’t sound real and prescribed antidepressants (??) to cope.

We cannot always depend on AI and search engines to supply answers. Especially now.
Cultivate those critical thinking and memory skills early and often. Resist the urge to let algorithms think for you.
Let your mind do its job, and stop letting technology put it out of work!
