I spent a couple of hard years second guessing everything I wrote. Kept hearing the cacophony of voices; this sucks, that sucks, it's not marketable, you have to level up, gotta break out, no one cares, it's lazy, nothing matters. Just murdered me. I stopped writing for fun, stopped writing for ME.

Autism and other neurodivergent traits can be socially oroblematic. Being able to explain that your divergent response and behaviour has a cause can defuse tension and offence from people who read the situation as rudeness etc. These weasels appropriating it harms the real community.
