You're a very multitalented guy from what I've seen. I'm not shocked at all!

Let me know when it's published. I'd love to read it.

www.nytimes.com/2024/07/09/b... From last year, but not too far into the past. What can't go on forever won't go on forever. If you're interested in the history of cars, I'd recommend doing a deep dive into DeLorean's troubled run. There's overlap between both stories.

There are ad agencies doing minimal spends on Twitter to avoid frivolous antitrust lawsuits from Musk. I wasn't a fan of him 10 years ago when I worked in advertising for car dealerships. I thought GM and Nissan were making better EVs without the rent seeking behavior of Tesla.

I think it's hilarious that the party of "limited government" is trying to go to further lengths than the democrats with things in the neighborhood of antitrust lawsuits. I remember some wanted twitter to be a "public utility." No.

The tariff thing really got me. I remembered saying, "I guess he's reaching into the playbook of the GOP economic policy of 100 years ago," to a friend. I don't think I realized some of the other stuff you pointed out.

I think that he's finding out that arguing with people in person isn't quite the same game as arguing with someone in person. I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but I don't think he looked good by the end of that exchange (Yes, I am being captain obvious).

It's weird seeing your bangers on two sites.

I think @philipreichert.bsky.social added you to most of those.

Morton Downey Jr's attempted career comebacks had more dignity than this, my lord.

Yep. Sadly, I didn't get there in time to see the sets for the sequel. That was the main goal. It was kind of cool to walk the area though. This is all that remains of the hardware store. They covered it with a facade in the new movie.

He confuses me as someone with a political science degree. His model is usually highly accurate, and instead of admitting there was a flaw one time he went nuclear on Piers Morgan. I guess he'd better get used to Blasphemy here.

Thanks. It's from The Wilson Castle in Vermont. I highly recommend it if you're ever up there for some reason. It was right on the way to the town from Beetlejuice, and Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice.

This is one from a while ago that I'm proud of.

Gorgeous. I'm going to try to travel the country to try and shoot all sorts of photos. I've been exploring photography as a hobby for a while. All of the studying of movies has taught me a lot!

You should have some sort of finisher move that involves manipulating someone's spine and it can be called, "Grading on a curve."

It will be happier when you frog people, my lord.

Good to see you on here. I think I'm going to put my X account on Private and spend more time here, my friend.

I think a lot of people don't know about what companies are legally obligated to do during layoffs, so when they get fired over incredibly petty matters, they're unaware the company is trying to avoid a financial and legal obligation. 2/2

I'm hoping Return to Office is the same way. Sadly, a lot of workers are losing ground because CEOs are having to justify owning unused real estate. It's also a "good" and more cost-effective tool for firing non-compliant employees, when compared severance / retraining costs associated layoffs. 1/2

That is really such an amazing idea for a restaurant. I really hope it prospers. I'd love something different like this in my neck of the woods.

I'm amazed that Judge Cannon is getting away with so much. I know she was reprimanded by a higher court. I'm hoping they have some sort of remedy that involves removing her from his intelligence case. That's the one I think he's most screwed on, and she's rigging the game for him.
