Happy B-Day.

Nope. Just flashback from reading all the books. As you were...

I'll be slapping that playlist on later mind. Cracker.

I'm nearer my 40th at Jarlaths. No, I never went back for a past pupils reunion.

OK. Says released 20/2/2025. But 4 minutes in, I've seen this episode already??? I think my stream is fucked.

Cracking in on Reacher S03 now. Let's see if it's as bad as you say it is.

I'm frustrated that so many are indifferent and that spills out. Again, I'm sorry for that. I'm not perfect, I'm just trying my best.
comment in response to post
I'm sorry if I come across preachy & superior, I know that I can. I'm speaking with genuine care for all supporters. I just I guess lack the social skills to deliver it that way a lot of the time.

Be assured, this is not just hot air on the internet. I have and will always put my time, own expenses and personal life to one side in pursuit of all football supporters because I believe in it passionately and I can see what some but too few see on the horizon. That'll be too late. Cheers, Kevin.

I've been disengaged since September for personal reasons, but they are both aware, engaged and committed to do whatever may be possible. So I don't just talk the talk, I walk the walk. I'm not going to list any achievements delivered during my shared time with great people at the Trust (Bates era)
comment in response to post
I have engaged and spoken with LUDO and the Trust on this also at the outset and both welcomed it, but it remains a solo endeavour. Just me. The election paused things and caused an interruption in the greater West Yorkshire transport plan the council and the Mayor are working hard to implement.

Primarily this was to seek pensioner and disabled passes were valid on these services (not currently the case) but ultimately to remove this additional financial burden for all supporters (home AND away fans) for city to ground travel and back.
comment in response to post
Things I am and have been doing personally. I have been engaging with the leader of Leeds city council and the Mayor for the past 16 months to change the practice of additional charges for the matchday buses to ER and back if you already hold a discretionary pass or have bought a daily bus ticket.

Well, I don't have all the answers or indeed perhaps any, but there are a few things we can do. There are Orgs we can join & engage with, folk we can pressure, simple things. Folk who have the clout. I posted this thread last week... bsky.app/profile/mayo...
comment in response to post
Regardless, I'm never giving up on changing things for the better for all supporters. Whether they welcome it or recognise the absolute and immediate necessity for it or nor.

I know you are not, and haven't. There are two others in this convo too. Also, if I come across as being superior, that's not my intention. It's just not being intelligent enough to deliver the message in a more acceptable way.
comment in response to post
But it's seldom welcome because no-one wants to be told they've been had. It's not completely irreversible but folk need to wake the fuck up. When you tolerate £55 seats for 2nd tier football they can fuck you six ways Sunday in future and make you think it was your idea all along and like it.
comment in response to post
No, I'm not. I've spent 22 years on this. I've been an FSA delegate, a Leeds supporters trust board member and membership secretary. I've put all my free time into this because I believe in looking out for you and all like you despite the indifference. I'm trying to help.

Sometime in the near future you'll remember this and think, "Fuck me, yer man was right".

You are hastening your own demise and doing it with a smile on your face. They've got you, hook, line and sinker!
comment in response to post
You are all literally aspiring towards your own extinction, and willingly. Fully mind-controlled and conditioned.
comment in response to post
When longstanding supporters can no longer afford the prices (it'll be soon) they will be phased out for one off day visitors at £250-£500 a ticket and it's already begun at LUFC and is in full spin at Spurs. Stadium development will mean a reshuffle and existing STs will no longer be guaranteed.

It doesn't matter how rich (or not) our owners are anymore, they cannot spend it. The top pigs have made sure of that. The only way to generate spending income is internal revenue generation which is a nice way of saying gouging YOU for more and more and more...
comment in response to post
I'm never buying into this. The door is closed shut. We missed the boat and there are no more sailings.
comment in response to post
If you think getting £140m for promotion then spunking it all on feckless players to buy more Ferraris and who will fuck off soon as look at you is progress... You've been fully conditioned.
comment in response to post
Ye've all been mind-fucked by hearing PL, PL, PL, that it's the be and end all for so long your not just drinking the kool-aid, ye've put your life savings into it.
comment in response to post
"and of course we would rather get promoted than risk that trying to progress a few more rounds in the FA cup" Why? The ceiling is fixed, there is no route to progress any longer.
comment in response to post
So many supporters (of all teams) have been conned, conditioned by stealth, and have lost all sense of what football should be and stand for.
comment in response to post
Wait. So you hate the PL but were quite happy to throw away the chance of progressing in the FA Cup to get into the PL. And you were far from alone in both of those. Right thinking that. 🙄

It may be, strictly by the rules, but in any right-minded analysis that's never a penalty.

How about we don't cut vital services and benefits for the UK instead of spunking what little budget there is on increased defence and more billions to a non-NATO country we have no obligation to who are engaged in a 1000 year war that has no ultimate resolution.
