Canadian Voter: I think who I voted for would be the best to take care of Trump, because Trump is, I’m sorry to say, an asshole.

The right absolutely hates Wikipedia because it publishes truth and they can't control it.

Bring back hiring the best person for the job, not the best white person from Fox News.

I think we all knew it was more than just the one signal chat… but what an absolute fucking joke.. You have to be a special kind of a dumbass to do this shit..multiple times..

It’s the Simpsons meme, but in the first panel Bart says “this is the worst security breach of my life,” and in the second panel Homer corrects him “the worst security breach of your life so far.”

I’m starting to feel a bit left out. www.nytimes.com/2025/04/20/u...

Call it a tariff.

The great thing about fighting back against this stuff is that if you end up losing anyway you get the same outcome you’d have gotten from complying but you don’t have to fucking hate yourself too.

AOC: When he talks about rapists and criminals, he should look in the mirror

Trumpism is not just authoritarian, it is totalitarian in the literal sense that it tolerates no institutions in society, no aspect of people's lives, outside their agenda of political coercion. Even trying to be neutral is unacceptable. Anything they don't dominate and control must be destroyed.

Here's Trump saying to Bukele that "homegrown criminals are next" and talking about how El Salvador will need to build "about five more places."

Absolutely brutal

Hey, @axios.com — Stop buying into the propagandistic framing. These are not “reciprocal” tariffs; they are intended to be punitive, based on the mistaken belief that trade disparities are inherently bad for the U.S. instead of representing a set of trade-offs.

I don’t know, guys. I’m starting to think that a guy who bankrupted businesses where the house always wins might not be great at running the economy after all.

This is really unfair to everyone who just voted for him for the racism.

Men will literally start a trade war with every other nation on earth instead of going to therapy.

As explained by @[email protected] Every law firm, of every size, should be signing onto this amicus brief if you believe in the survival of your profession - www.nytimes.com/2025/03/30/o...

"They are illegal attempts by an authoritarian regime to usurp congressional authority and coerce universities into doing his personal bidding." - Prof. Niko Bowie, HLS

ABSOLUTELY CHILLING. All Rumeysa Ozturk did was write an op-ed. Then six masked ICE agents abducted her off the street and made her disappear. No warning. No due process. She's a legal resident and union member. This is a DIRECT assault on free speech. #4The1st

Goldberg on Waltz: "This isn't The Matrix. Phone numbers don't just get sucked into other phones. I don't know what he's talking about ... my phone number was in his phone because my phone number was in his phone. He's telling everyone that he's never met me or spoken to me. That's simply not true."

Hiring your brother is the original affirmative action for white people.

As of Friday, there have been 46 cases in which federal judges have blocked Trump policies. The rulings in those cases have come from 39 different judges appointed by 5 different presidents (of both parties) to 11 different district courts across 7 different circuits. Maybe it's not the judges?

People are taking things into their own hands

The ICE arrests are meant to terrorize dissenters and crush the intellectual freedom that’s the whole point of universities—and the tactic is having its intended effect. Thanks to these professors for fighting back. www.thecrimson.com/article/2025...

Controversial partisan hack UVA board member sacked and replaced by...controversial partisan hack. Great work, everyone!

Notably missing: Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Columbia. Kind of mindblowing to me given what the substance of this letter is: "government should not retaliate against law firms"

Now that we have the messages, please go compare what it's in it to the CENTCOM classification guide provisions below. This all very clearly classified at at least the SECRET level. There was quite a bit of perjury yesterday.

The combination of shameless and relentless dishonesty, stupidity, and all-around mediocrity is probably going to get a lot of people killed.

Yup. These assholes have been straight up lying to the press about what happened, and good for The Atlantic on calling their bluff.

He put our troops at risk. Then lied about it. This was dangerous and completely unacceptable. Pete Hegseth should be fired.

The best time would have been before now, but this is now a really great time for some journalists to stop giving a shit about access and hold these assholes accountable for blatantly lying through their teeth about a national security breach.

A Veteran walked into the VA and saw this sign: “Due to staff cuts, we can’t provide drivers.” Another Vet with a cane shook his head and kept walking. Trump’s VA Sec Doug Collins says care isn’t affected. He’s lying—and Vets are paying the price.

It's critical for everyone to remember what an Executive Order is. It is the President communicating orders to members of the executive branch. Policies to pursue, actions to take, etc. They are not laws. They are not close to being laws. They are formalized memos to employees. That's all.

Dear Dems complaining about the prospect of getting primaried: it's not because you're not progressive enough, it's because you're not fighting hard enough (or...at all).

is ur child texting state secrets in a Signal chat? ily - I Leaked Yemen (attack details) smh - Secret Message Hahahaha tbh - Talkin 'Bout Houthis idk - I Doubt Korea (is in this signal chat) gtg - Gonna Text Goldberg

One doesn’t take notes on a criminal fucking conspiracy

Obviously CCing a journalist on all this shows humiliating incompetence, but also… why the fuck is this conversation happening on a third-party messaging app, even an encrypted one?

Accurate, to scale 👇🏽
