Taking a break from social media this week. See y'all in the other side

This is a wonderful description of how to address students' use of AI in a caring, productive, and open way.

I don’t take for granted how many ppl make my students’ reading possible. We are still on the market for copies of Pet by Akwaeke Emezi! We’ve grown the project to every sophomore! If you 🤬 Amazon, I’m placing a Bookshop order. All 💵 = heymrsbond 🙏🏾😭

Hi! Need help in a BIG way. The English 2 team is freedom-dreaming and they want to teach PET by Akwaeke Emezi. We need all the copies. To end the year with this book would be a dream come true!! Please share. Please donate if you can. Thank you. ❤️

This is a very good book. I stumbled onto James McBride's "Heaven and Earth Grocery Store" and fell in love with his writing and the amazing narration by Dominic Hoffman.

What a tremendous resource Bill was for the educator community. Thank you for your kindness and contributions.

Philly represented today! Thanks for speaking truth to power @rweingarten.bsky.social and for coming over to say hi to our PFT coalition. #handsoff

Hands off!

Please do not register for protests. I'm big mad that this is even being asked of people. You know where and when to be. Show up.

I'm surprised my TL isn't full of this clip.... youtu.be/yuOHbyuanbY?...

This is like watching Sen. Cory Booker's brain right before he falls asleep when your brain spins and revisits all the conversations you had that day and all the things you wish you had said. It's brilliant to watch and hear how brilliant that brain is.

This reminds me of your observations @lutzfernandez.bsky.social Looks like the older generations aren't having it. www.businessinsider.com/takeaways-te...

When the Art teacher names the flash drives for the Art room scanner.....

Wondering if you saw this @courosa.bsky.social and @shareski.ca

The people saying "send it back to the states" must be the same folks saying that they can't access curriculum or have any transparency or say in curriculum in their child's school (hint: check your kid's HW, the district website, join the curriculum committee, attend board meetings....)

My kids use ILL on a regular basis to borrow titles that our town's library doesn't have. This is a service that our LOCAL library leverages and provides and is now at the whim of a FEDERAL budget cut. These "cost saving measures" have far-reaching impacts people can't always see.
