Just learned in a course I'm doing a concept that could fit this too: Me-pitalism.

I'm with Normandy '44. The Allies have made a lot of progress in just 5 days.
Don't feel alone here!

The Fall of Saigon gives a new perspective to the game. The fight for Saigon has been brutal with the NVA losing many troops.
Eventually a failed spearhead by the ARVN and a counterattack by the North (with some tanks failing in their hands) decided the game.

I find it difficult to win with the Republicans as the cards keep favouring the historic outcome.
But I love this game and I love the loyalists to win so dice are sometimes tweaked :)

This is my favourite game. It brought me back to using a table instead of a screen.
It is also a theme very close to my heart.

I finished "The Price of Glory: Verdun 1916" a few weeks ago and one thing that struck me was how much the river Meuse conditioned the battles.
I see the river clearly marked on the board. What will be its effects on the game?

I'm not used to playing just with cards but Resistid by @saltandpeppergames.bsky.social makes me feel the intensity of this often forgotten part of Spanish history

Private is always better
"When Thames was privatised in 1989, it had no debt. But over the years it borrowed heavily and now has debts of about £19bn.
Its debt pile increased sharply when Macquarie owned Thames Water, with debts reaching more than £10bn by the time the company was sold in 2017."

He was just a rebel leading a rebel group. The whitewashing done from the media, including The Guardian, should be the object of studies.
