Your argument is that Trump's anti-trans campaign was successful. Mine is that the Harris campaign didn't lose because they were too pro-trans because they were not, in fact, pro-trans in any meaningful sense. Trump claimed they were, as part of his anti-trans campaign, but it wasn't true.

This idea that Democrats lost because they were too pro-trans has been so frustrating because it’s not only morally repugnant but is also clearly wrong because, as everyone knows, that’s not what happened.
