Something pleasant, but melancholy today. This is Lula. She was my dog through about 10 of the worst years of my life. But she made it survivable. She died of an inoperable tumor about three years and there’s not a day goes by that I don’t miss her. Some days more than most. Such a good dog.

Yes. I am ready for this. I was in NYC when Schumer clobbered Al D’Amato for his Senate seat and it was fresh air and smiles all around. But even when he wasn’t capitulating to tyrants, he was a miserable party leader. So many of the directionless Democrats problem come from him.

“The Department of Ungentlemanly Warfare,” a fun rousing WWII epic. Based on a true story! It’s noted that Gus March-Phillipps and Marjorie Stewart married shortly after Operation Postmaster. They were married for just a few months before Phillipps was killed in action on the next raid.

I’m re-watching Twin Peaks for the first time in 25 years. Leland Palmer crashes a Great Northern party and immediately has an emotional breakdown, wailing, with his head on his hands. Comedy gold is when Catherine Martell, dancing with him, turns Leland’s moves into dance steps to cover what’s up.

I need to check my settings ‘cause I get an awful lot of posts from gamers and “artists.” I put that in parentheses because a number of them talk about using their blood and guts in their work, but their work appear to be mostly sketches of Pretty Ponies and anime characters.
