4 million people in LA, 19 mil in wider area, LAPD is ~9k uniformed officers or something + ICE and whoever else is in there already, an extra 2k is pissing in a bucket. Hundreds of normal people for each pig and stormtrooper. A thousand angry neighbors for every brownshirt.

My favorite anime/manga as a kid.
And it sucks because it’s not like he’s just “oh yeah, dude’s pretty shitty” bad, he’s “YOU SAID HOW MANY TBs?!!” bad.
