Just started the new Scalzi book. Jumped in here for a sec to reply about that idiotic Feaux News PDB thing. Went back and chapter 2 starts with a US President who doesn't look at the PDB and needs his briefings in "small words". Prescient? Considering the current guy, no. Scary? Hell yes!
