Yep. Local projects like playgrounds, sidewalks, safety improvements, crosswalks, bike lanes, bridge repairs, stocked fishing lakes, pond maintenance, etc are all often paid for with federal grants applied for by municipal governments and HoAs. That's all gonna go away now.
